MHS T-Shirt Design Contest We are excited to announce a student contest to design a MHS T-shirt that will be available to students next year. This design should not only include the "M" we are well-familiar with, but should also include some of the visual elements from the MHS Vision of a Learner. The flyer is available HERE The contest is open to MHS Students only, through Memorial Day weekend. Time for our many artists to SHINE and we can't wait to see the results!
Boys State and Girls State
The American Legion is happy to announce the 78th annual session of Boys State, the week that shapes a lifetime. This is a six day training course in study and practical application of problems of self-government. It does not take the place of a course in Civics or Government as taught in high schools across the state, but it is planned so students may put into practice the theories of American government as taught in the classroom, through operation of the city, town and state offices as organized under the plans of Boys State. This program will run at St. Anselm College from June 22-June 27. All informational paperwork and applications will be available in the Counseling Office. Applications are due back to them by May 31, 2025.
American Legion Auxiliary Granite Girls State is a nonpartisan participatory program that teaches young women responsible citizenship grounded in ethics, the principles of our nation's founders and respect for God and Country. American Legion Auxiliary Girls State is among the nation's most respected educational programs of government instruction and leadership development for U.S. high-school students. This year's session of ALA Granite Girls State will be held at St Anselm's College the week of June 22nd-June 28th. All informational paperwork and applications will be available in the Counseling Office. Applications are due back to them by May 31, 2025
