College Visits
The following college will be sending a representative to MHS in the next few weeks. Seniors can attend any presentation; juniors can attend a presentation if it falls during their study hall.
Thursday, December 19th: Nashua Community College, 10:00 am
Schedule Changes week of December 9th
Wednesday, December 11th is a scheduled district-wide Early Release. Because of this, Friday, December 13th will be a Wednesday Odd-Block Schedule
Early Release Schedule:
Period 1 7:30-7:52
Period 2 7:55-8:17
Period 3 8:20-8:42
Period 4 8:45-9:07
Period 5 9:10-9:32
Period 6 9:35-9:57
Period 7 10:00-10:22
Period 8 10:25-10:47
LUNCH 10:50-11:15 Students do not have to stay for lunch and do not have to have a dismissal to leave at 10:47. However, the buses will not arrive until after the lunch period at 11:15, so if students leave after 8th, they will need transportation.
MMS/MHS Rock Climbing Club
Join Mrs. Johnson & Mr. Costa from MMS for the Rock Climbing Club at Vertical Dreams Manchester on Mondays from January-March. A bus will pick you up at MHS after school! Please see this link for the flyer: Rock Climbing Flyer

Students for Animal Advocacy Supply Drive
The Merrimack High School Students for Animal Advocacy is hosting a pet shelter drive, They are looking for gently used towels, blankets and new toys that can be donated to pets at the shelters this winter, Please drop off all donations in the box near the main lobby by December 19! All donations are appreciated!

NHJCI Scholarship
Seniors: The NH Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate organization will be giving grants of $1,500 to a yet to be determined number of students. Please visit www.usjcisenate.org for information and forms.
The deadline for this application is January 17, 2025.

This information is due by March 15, 2025.
You can also come to the Counseling Office to receive a copy of the paperwork.
American Legion High School Oratorical Contest
This contest is "A Constitutional Speech Contest" to develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the Constitution of the United States among high school students. Other objectives of the contest include the development of leadership qualities, the ability to think and speak clearly and intelligently, and the preparation for acceptance of the duties and responsibilities, rights, and privileges of American citizenship.
If you are interested in participating in this contest, please see Mrs. Bourbeau in the Counseling Office and she will have the required paperwork for you.
Ski & Snowboard Club Signups
It's not too late to sign up for this season's ski and snowboard club. It's great for riders of all abilities, including those who have never even tried it! See the flyers around school and let Mr. Jonesinski know if you have any questions. There will be a meeting for all registered and interested students with Mr. Jonesinski in room 219, after school, on Thursday, December 19th. Think snow!
